Seven Months and Mobile

I am a little late on this post. Kendall is now almost 7 1/2 months old! I guess I just won't do an eight month post. Quite a lot has happened in Kendall's little world the past month or so, including being sick, crawling, and getting bigger!

Kendall was pretty sick last week and it was a LONG week for the whole family. Kendall had some sort of stomach flu which she managed to give to three people at daycare and Rick! It was a nasty virus that left Kendall throwing up and having constant diarrhea. She seems to finally be over it now and back to her happy go lucky self! And note to self: she's not a Pedialyte drinker (odd I thought). She just doesn't like the stuff.

She has also completed a major milestone in baby times...crawling! She has been so close the last month and got so frustrated that she couldn't move. She could get her legs goin, but couldn't figure out how to move her arms. Well a few days ago she finally figured out how to put it all together and now she is gone like the wind. Ok, she can't really crawl that fast, but it's so neat to see her moving other ways then rolling around. She can also go from her back/belly into sitting up independently, which I thought was pretty neat. She could actually do that before being able to crawl, which I also thought was odd.

When we took her into the doc when she was sick, she weighed in at 17 pounds. She is still so short though! Most of her 6-9 month clothes are still way too long for her, which is kind of funny. Maybe she will have a growth spurt one of these days...or maybe not :) Oh yeah, she still doesn't have a single tooth!!

She continues to love any type of food...except applesauce. Isn't that funny?! Most babies would love applesauce, but not Ms. Rosie, she wants NOTHING to do with it. Give her carrots or squash any day over applesauce and she will be one happy girl.

We also realized we need to start babyproofing the house...SOON!! She has already gotten to the Blu-ray player and the X-Box. It's only a matter of time before she is in every cabinet and cubby we have. But I must say, I can't wait until she starts chasing after Pacey and Maggie. She will give them a run for their money!

Well, that's all for now...Rick is off this weekend so we will get to spend some good quality "family time" together. I can't wait :)
