Eight months and turning into a monkey

I no longer have a baby...gone are the days of little Kendall snuggling into mommy's arms to fall asleep...I now have a MONKEY! When she gets sick of being held, or really whenever, she will push herself away from you and try to crawl up you, using your hair as a rope of course! Ouch! I really wish she knew what "no" meant. She likes to be places she shouldn't be and when you say "no" to her she just looks at you with that "what?" look. She can REALLY GO now by crawling. She is a fast little monster!

She is still a LOUD baby in church but at least I had Rick there to help me this week. She just has such a hard time sitting still or being quiet for that matter. Now that she can crawl she is on the move most of her day. After reading a friend's blog about their daughter I thought I would try Mickey Mouse Club on the TV for Kendall. She loves it! It is quite possibly the only show that Kendall will look at for more then 5 seconds. This proves to be handy when preparing dinner, cleaning, etc.

She is now pulling herself up on couches, chairs, Rick and I, etc. This is all fine and dandy until she tries to pull herself up in the bathtub. Talk about giving mom a heart attack! I am so afraid she is going to fall and take out her non-existent teeth.

On another note, we are leaving in less then 3 days. I officially can't sleep because I am thinking of the things I need to get done before our trip. Kendall is staying with Rick's mom on Thursday and Friday, my mom on Saturday and Sunday, and back with the Rudnicks on Monday! I just didn't want either set of grandparents to get burned out on babysitting. Plus with my mom here Kendall can stay at home where she is most comfortable. I am also getting super sad to leave her. I am worried that I will miss her so much that I won't be able to have fun. Lame, I know! I'm sure I will be fine and have an awesome time! Bring on the outlet mall!
