She's a talker alright!

I really enjoy attending mass each Sunday. I love belonging to a local church and enjoy volunteering for St. Mary's whenever I can. What I do not enjoy is having the "loud" baby in church! And by loud, I mean LOUD!! This girl can't seem to keep quiet for 15 minutes, let alone an hour. Don't get me wrong, she is in a great mood, but she loves to hear her own voice. Rick would say, "like mother, like daughter." So I like to talk :) Apparently so does my daughter. Needless to say I was embarrassed and routinely had to leave so Kendall could talk without annoying everybody. It's so funny too, because everyone around you in mass will say, "oh that's so cute, oh she has so much energy." But you KNOW they are thinking, "get that child out of here, she is loud!" I had to bust out my secret weapon several times. What is my secret weapon you ask? Well, Kendall loves these Gerber mild cheddar puffs. Really they are like bland Cheetos and softer. Kendall LOVES them! But I did feel guilty taking them out in church so they were only in desperate measures. I am hoping this is just a phase and Kendall isn't the loud child every week! But in the meantime I am not sure what to do every Sunday!!

  1. Oh boy! We have a loud baby too! I've finally gotten to the stage where I can leave her in the nursery. She enjoys it more and I can actually participate in worship!!

  2. Oh Tara! You have the most wonderfully adorable baby girl! I do feel your pain with the jibber jabber in church. Snacks and sippy cups are our best friends. And the Mirror Me Baby Einstein book. Just remember, most people think it's cute. They like happy chatty babies more than crying ones!! ;) See you Wednesday!
