It's Almost Here!

What is almost here, you ask? Well....a couple things:

1. Spring! I do love spring. In addition to my birthday (which is totally not as exciting the older you get), it's so great that Kendall can play outside, the dogs can hang out in the backyard, and you can soon bust out the sandals. I love sandal weather. You will barely see me outside with socks on. Oh, and we found these super cute Nike sandals for Kendall, she will be styling this summer for sure! We just had our lawn power-raked and now Kendall can run around in our backyard and burn off some steam. We have been taking her to the park whenever the weather permits, but it sure is nice to just let her go in your own backyard. I found this almost perfect condition sand and water table on bismanonline. It is great! They included toys, sand, and it will be perfect! I do heart bismanonline, you can find so many great deals and I am a bargain shopper.
2. Our mini vacation! Hip Hip Hooray! We haven't been out of town in awhile and we are itching to go somewhere. The first weekend in May we are making a quick trip up to GF to our good friend Laura's wedding. We have been friends since junior high and we used to get into trouble a lot together. hee hee. The weekend after that we are venturing to Minneapolis for Ryan and Tara's graduation. This will be so much fun to see family and we are going to see a Twins game at the new Target field. Woo hoo. We are going to the May 7Th game, and since it's my birthday that day it will be fun to celebrate with a Twins game.

3. Time to put our house up for sale??? I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little nervous. Ok, a lot nervous. We have been talking about selling our home and buying something bigger for quite some time now. Our current home was always going to be just a starter home, but with the addition of Kendall, we have completely outgrown it. We are meeting with the Realtors (mother-daughter team) on Wednesday and hope to have it on the market around June 1st. This seems like a faraway date, but we have a huge list of things to get done first. a) Landscaping b)finish kitchen cupboards (just have yo put on the crown molding and the base board) c)paint the doors and door jams (this will probably take the bulk of our time, it's kind of a big job) d) rent a storage unit and de-clutter our home. We have been busting out the seams for awhile and need to take out about half our belongings to make our home look bigger. So we need to get these things done in the next month or so. The part I am most excited about is looking for a new home!! That part is always so much fun :)

4. Hmm, I actually don't have much to say about Kendall this week....shocker! She is usually all I talk about. She is just so much fun! The temper tantrums have mostly ceased (for now) and she is a hyper goof ball.
