Halloween part one

I wanted to post some quick pictures of our festivities this week. We had our 9Th annual JeffHalter pumpkin carving extravaganza. Usually I just "gut" the pumpkin and Rick carves it, but this year I went all out and joined in on the actual carving. Kendall could care less about the pumpkin carving, she was too interested in all the "new" toys Addyson had to offer. Here are a few pics of our carvings. From left to right is Jenn's, Anna's "peace sign," Josh's "monsters," my "pac man," Rick's "hulk," and Addy's smiley face. Also, poor Addyson received quite the owwie at the end of the night. She was getting on her bed and fell and her chin landed on the headboard. Well, she bit her tongue REALLY good and was bleeding for such a long time. I felt so bad for her but she was a trooper and even posed for a pic or two! Poor Addy, I think she still has the wound to this day.

Also, just had to throw in a little update about OUR pumpkin. Kendall talks, and talks, and talks, and talks some more. She puts her words together now and says a lot of sentences. She is soo funny and I just love her! Her little personality makes me laugh every day and the things she says are so funny. Some current "loves" of hers include:

*DORA!! Oh my, it was crazy how quickly she became obsessed with Dora. She loves to interact with the show and now speaks Spanish, haha. It's soo funny, when she wants to watch it she brings over the remote and says da da da d da Dora. If you have ever watched the show, that's how they sing it in the theme song.

*Her "look and find" books. She has a couple of these and loves to read them with us. She can find pretty much every object in them and it's not even a challenge anymore. I know there are a few more titles out there and I may have to make some purchases.

*Our new house. Every time we pull up to our house she gets so excited and says "house house." She loves to look at her future room and look out the window. Even when she sees pictures of it she yells "HOUSE." Speaking of our new house, it isn't quite finished yet. This poses a problem since we have to be out of our current home on Wednesday. Hopefully our new home will be done by the following Wednesday at the latest.

Kendall is going to be a "super girl" tonight, she has been practicing saying "trick or treat" all day. It comes out more like, "treater treat" but I think people will know what she is trying to say.

Kendall will be "supergirl" for Halloween. Stay tuned for pictures to come.
