I am a few days behind on this post. With getting ready for Thanksgiving, Jaxon's baptism, and finishing the basement, I just haven't had a spare moment.
Size:19 pounds 3 oz. If you are keeping track, you will notice that this is actually 4oz less then he weighed last month. We will get to that.
Development: Rolling EVERYWHERE. He will not stay on his back for any amount of time, he will instantly roll onto his tummy. We put toys on the floor and he likes to play with them on his stomach. The large bald patch on the back of his head is growing in nicely now that he is never on his back, haha. He likes to say "da da da" a lot and talk to us. He also recently found his toes and likes to grab onto them and hold them. Hmm, what else? He can ~sort of~ sit up on his own. He still looks like a tripod, but is getting the hang of it.
Sleep: Sleeps from about 8:30-9:00 to 7-7:30 each night and takes two 2 hour naps each day.
Personality: Is sooo ticklish on his neck and giggles so hard that he literally squeals! Still has the stranger danger, totally just depends on the day, time mood, person, etc. and can change everyday.
Misc: Ugh. For about the past 4-5 weeks, Jaxon has been battling some stomach issues. He will go about a week on and a week off of what seems like the stomach flu. However, he has no fever, sniffles, or coughs. Pretty much he throws up and has diarrhea. Finally we took him into his doctor last week to find some answers. Our doctor does not feel it is viral and must be something else. She switched him to lactose free formula, and ran a bunch of tests. He also had a upper GI to rule out any reflux issues. Well, everything came back completely normal and we started on the soy formula. This was all since Wednesday. As of today he is still ugh. Of course he has his baptism tomorrow (great timing) and is just not himself. I'm sure his stomach hurts and he just doesn't feel good. He will only keep down about 2 oz at a time (most of the time) and some nasty diapers throughout the day and night. It's been tough, and we worry about our little Jaxonater and hope to figure out what is going on. If everything still continues while being on this soy formula on Monday, we are taking him back into the doctor. Hopefully Dr. Murphy can figure out what is going on.
I will post more after Jaxon's baptism tomorrow!
