Jaxon's smile and laugh are about the cutest things I have ever seen/heard. His giggle can bring a smile to anyone and put anyone in a good mood. I can't believe he is TEN months already. This is absolutely going faster then Kendall's first year, I swear. We went to Charlie's 1st birthday party a couple days ago, and it made it so much more real that Jaxon will be one so soon, since they are only 8 weeks apart in age. Definitely bittersweet.
Size: Well, I am not sure, but I think he is still around 25 pounds. It doesn't seem like he has gained too much weight lately, but I do think he has gotten taller. 12 month pants look like capris on him, so he is definitely in all 18 month clothes.
Sleep: Jaxon is totally that kid who, if he is feeling good, he is sleeping good. He will sleep about 10 1/2 to 11 hours I would say, but more toward the 10 1/2 hours usually. He goes to bed between 8-8:30 and gets up between 7-730. Totally manageable if you ask me. He takes one nap in the AM for an hour and one nap in the PM for 2 hours. He is definitely a scheduled boy, thanks to his Momma and daycare provider :)
Eating: Did I mention he is scheduled? After he wakes up, he eats about 5-6 scoops of rice cereal/oatmeal with formula. Before his morning nap he drinks an 8oz bottle. At lunchtime he eats 1 jar of food or whatever the kiddos are eating. He really likes big kid food and likes to feed himself. Before his afternoon nap he drinks another 8oz bottle. At dinnertime he has another jar of food. At 7pm he eats another 5-6 scoops of rice cereal/oatmeal and then at 8pm he drinks his final 8oz bottle of the day. He does have snacks throughout the day also, and likes crackers, cookies, puffs, apple fries, whatever really.
Development: Not a TON different from last month. He stands on his own for brief periods of time, only seconds really. He will lunge forward and then fall on his face! Kendall was such an early walker, that I would be totally ok with Jaxon waiting until his 1st birthday to walk! He likes to walk along things and has started to push things around while walking with them. He is unbelievably LOUD, whether it's happy, sad or excited. He has an unbelievable amount of energy and doesn't ever sit still. Remind anyone of a certain Kendall? Yes, my two kiddos are way more alike then they are different.
Misc: Jaxon has begun to grind his teeth, AHHHHH!!! This is the most annoying sound in the entire world, I'm sure of it. It started over a week ago and hasn't made it's exit yet. Kendall never ground her teeth, so this is new to me.
