Size: Well, I don't have my 9 month sheet from Jaxon's well baby check, but I believe he was 24lbs and 4oz and 28 3/4 inches long. Big and Tall. He is in 12-18 month clothes pretty comfortably now. He also has a ton of hair and it is getting lighter by the day. It is now light brown and pretty fine like his mamma's.
Development: Jaxon likes to babble. His faves are Da Da and Baaa. To be honest with you,he just doesn't shut up :) He loves to talk, scream, and giggle. He is so darn smiley it's crazy. He can bust out the sweetest smile just by looking his way. He is also super ticklish and giggles like crazy. He has started to get better with the sippy cup. I seem to remember Kendall catching on to the sippy cup WAY faster, but I can't be sure. His pincher grasp is good now and he loves to grab food. Also, he has 4 teeth now, two on top and two on the bottom. He has one of his incisors coming in on top, I can see it soo close to the gum.
Eating: Jaxon can be the best eater or the worst. We are on an upswing right now, so I will talk about that. When he wants to, he can down a ton of food. When he doesn't want to eat, he can be the world's biggest pain to feed (solid food that is.) He is REALLY starting to love table foods. His faves include waffles, pancakes, graham crackers, french fries, crackers, fruit loops, Cheetos, mashed potatoes and gravy, rice, mac and cheese, and really whatever else you give him. He truly loves his "ba ba" (bottle) and I am dreading the 12 month mark where we have to take it away. Kendall never cared too much for her bottle, but she also took a pacifier. The bottle is how Jaxon calms himself down, etc. I truly think Jaxon would take a pacifier right now if we gave him one, but he missed that chance! I am not giving him one now only to have to take it away in another 6 months. He does only have 3 bottles a day (8oz in each), so it's not too many to phase out.
Sleep: still about the same-ish. His morning nap is only about 1 hour now along with a 2 hour afternoon nap. He usually sleeps about 10 1/2 to 11 hours a night.
Misc: Hmmm, I don't have much to add here. Jaxon is starting to get into Kendall's stuff when she is playing with, which she is not a huge fan of. When she is in the mood she will "read" stories to Jaxon. Which he could care less about, ha! But it is cute none the less. Jaxon likes to play with the big kid toys, and Kendall doesn't care unless she is already playing with it.
