On Kendall's birthday, she lucked out to have it land on a school day. Therefore, she was the helper and got to bring treats. We wanted to day to be special for her so we taped balloons on strings up above her door. That way when she walked out of her door in the morning she walked through a curtain of balloons. She thought that was pretty cool. Her breakfast consisted of a donut with a candle in it and we went to Space Aliens for dinner. This weekend we were supposed to have a family birthday party, but sadly the weather had other plans, boo. But she still gets to have her friend party on Sunday afternoon with all her friends at the gymnastics studio. I am pretty sure I will be way too busy to snap any pictures, so just use your imagination to picture Rick and I with 12 screaming preschoolers.
Just a few sentences (ok, paragraphs) about Kendall. I just love the little lady she has become. Everyday she makes me smile and so proud to be her Mom. I love the annual "bear picture" this year. It describes her nicely. Ballet shoes on her feet, for her love of dance. Skirt and tights for her love of dressing up. Tattoo on her arm because she is obsessed with them right now, and a Doc McStuffins shirt for her love of that Disney show.
The two things that top her list right now are dance and preschool. If she hasn't danced around the house for at least one hour each night, she is probably sick. I am amazed at her love of performing during her dance recitals and performances during sporting events. I thought she would be so scared but she isn't, and remembers every step! My little shy girl in front of hundreds of people and loving it!
The other love being school. I am constantly pleased with the amount she learns every day and her ability to apply it. She loves to tell you what every single word "starts with" and to name the letters. She gets better at writing letters on a daily basis and loves to play games on the Ipad to prove it :) I write these things in my blog to document, to remember, to relive down the road. I can't believe how quickly I already forget things about Kendall's early years. I love having this blog as a tool to look back and see what times were like. So, if you are sick of me rambling about my little girl, I am sorry!
