It was a beautiful Mother's day this year. We went to church, spent some time in the backyard, went out to eat with Rick's mom and step dad, and then went to the park. Down at Sertoma there are something like 7 different parks that are all connected by a path. The kids absolutely love being outside, especially Jaxon, so we thought this would be a perfect cap to the evening. We hit up 4 of the parks. I also posted about our park tour about two years ago, crazy to see my little Kendall! Jaxon continues to be a little dare devil with really no fear of the playground equipment. He will climb on anything, slide down everything, and jump off everything as well! Jaxon is really my outside boy, he now knows how to grab a pair of shoes to put on (usually Rick's,) unlock the back sliding door, and walk outside on his own. Not a happy momma about this. He walks outside in the morning while no one is looking and all of a sudden you see him out the window in the playhouse. Yikes!
One other side note. I knew it would happen at some point, but Jax and Kendall are now the same weight. They are both between 32-33 pounds. They also wear the same size 9 shoes. Kendall has quite a few inches length on him so far, but I know that won't be like that for long. It's crazy seeing how different they are.
Here are some pictures of Mothers day.
