We have been busy busy bees at the Hochhalter house lately. I just looked at my blog and realized it's been over a month since I last posted. Here are the latest happenings at the Hochhalter's.
*We wrapped up our first rummage sale of the year yesterday. It was cool but sunny! I will take cool over rain any weekend. It's always a lot of work putting together, but I am always happy after we are done. This was by far my most successful rummage sale, we made enough money to pay the deductible for our dented Rav. Someone hit Rick's car while we were inside Target. Shockingly they didn't leave a note, insurance info, etc. So hit and run it was.
*Kendall had her spring performance for dance, last week. Oh but that's not the end of dance season for her! She started taking another class at Fire and Ice Dance Studio (formerly Culture Shock), and will continue this throughout the summer, in addition to taking another class over there! She truly loves to dance and can't get enough, so we are gladly supporting this interest.
*Jaxon has hit the "two's." He is talking so much more, putting words together and repeating things we say. He also throws one heck of a temper tantrum, whines when he doesn't get his way, and has so much energy Rick and I can barely keep up with him. What can I say? He's a two year old boy. He also LOVES to be outside. He wants to be out when it's cold, rainy, windy, anytime really. He cries to be out and yells "outside outside" whenever we are at home. Our fence should be installed within the next few weeks and this will really help to keep Jaxon contained.
*We have been to a few birthday parties, have a few coming up, and one to plan for. It's going to be one busy summer and I can't wait!
