Back to school!
Kendall started back at school right after Labor day, and couldn't have been more excited. She is pumped that she gets to go an extra day this year (3 vs. 2) and was very excited to see all her friends again. She goes to an AMAZING preschool called Merry Go Round, and we couldn't be happier there. The amount she learns everyday is amazing and the projects she bring home are pretty cute too.

Big boy bed!
Jaxon is officially a big boy (tear). We weren't sure he was ready, but Grandma and Grandpa Rudnick found an awesome corvette bed and we decided to take the plunge. Kendall was the worlds easiest transitioner to a toddler bed, so I was pretty sure we couldn't go two for two. Jaxon actually went right to a twin bed and so far so good! The first night he slept in there he didn't wake up until after 9, we'll take it! He loves to play on his bed and so far likes to sleep in it. It makes me a little sad on the inside that he was our last kiddo to use a crib. We took the crib apart and Rick and I are going to attempt to make it into a headboard. Me: painting it, Rick: McGyver it on the bed frame.
Baptism!
Rick and I were given the honor of godparents to a special little boy named Eli. He is our good friends, the Sustad's, littlest child. He is a sweet boy who, even though he was sick, was such a good little boy. The pastor held him in his arms and sung a song to him after the actual baptism, and it was so beautiful. Little Eli just sat still in his arms and took it all in. We had such a fun weekend with them and every time we leave Rick and I always comment, several times, that we wish we lived closer to each other.

One last time at the lake this summer. We played some games, went on the boat, and spent time with my parents. My parent's have a beautiful home on the lake and the kids always have such an amazing time running around.

Back to the Patch!
Well, this was just a teaser for the family. We went for our parish picnic so there wasn't much set up but it got the kids pumped up for the actual trip to the patch coming up. When, I don't know, but we will make it over there in the next few weeks I am sure! No fall is complete in Bismarck without a trip to the Pumpkin Patch. Bismarck has an AMAZING patch and every year they add more and more things to do.
