Five Months and Fabulous!

I know parents say this all the time but..."I can't believe Kendall is growing so fast!" We had her weighed last week and she is almost 15 pounds and almost 26 inches! She seems to be right on track developmentally too. She is rolling both ways and is so funny when she is on her tummy. She gets soo frustrated because she can't get anywhere. I bet it won't be long before she is crawling! She is so much fun and has a ton of energy!! She is so smiley and seems to be over her stranger anxiety...for now, I have a feeling it will come back sometime in the near future. She has been tugging at one ear A TON lately so we had it checked for an ear infection...but all clear! Five months and still no infections, I'll take it!

Rick had to work overtime this weekend so Kendall and I ventured to Grand Forks on Friday. We had lots of fun seeing family, especially great-grandpa Vennes! Kendall loved snuggling with him (trust me, she has way too much energy to cuddle that often so it was a special treat). I have a cute picture of the two of them but Grandpa said I couldn't put it on my blog! However, I did sneak a picture of Kendall holding his hand, I have to put that one up. I couldn't resist Grandpa!

On Saturday we went to see a special little girl that was born on my birthday! Little Ava was too cute and slept in my lap for almost two hours! I swear I can't even remember when Kendall was that little, and it was only 4 months ago. It was fun catching up with the Sustads, I wish it didn't happen so infrequently. They need to live closer to us! 4 hours is just too far away! Jack is getting so big and becoming such a "little man." And Kaiser is that big lovable dog that will lick anybody!

  2. Hey Tara! I can't remember if I ever thanked you for the bottles and stuff! You are awsome! I just had to comment on here that your family is so cute! I love that you have this little blog to keep updated! I had Brody in for his 4 month appointment, and he is already over 26 inches! Going to be a tall one! Take care!
