Back to the Bis!

I am finally home after 7 days of good old Grand Forks. It was so nice to spend time with my family back home. My aunt, uncle, and cousin were all in town for a few days. There were two events that took place back home, one was sad and one was joyous! The first was my mom's 50th birthday! Happy birthday Mom! You don't look a day over 30 :) The second event was the burial of my grandmother, who passed away in late February. She was cremated and we buried her ashes nearby. This was extremely hard and brought back all those feelings that I had at the funeral. Oh my goodness, it was so hard to say goodbye.

Kendall decided that it wouldn't be fun to sleep at my parent's, so she didn't really nap much for a whole week! She would sleep about 1 1/2 to 2 hours a day, when she usually sleeps about 4! But all in all she was a pretty happy, sleepless but happy, baby. She loved all the attention she got all week. She is trying soo hard to crawl, it's super funny to see her on the ground trying to get somewhere. I really don't think it will be long before she is crawling all around. I guess I should start to babyproof the house. She is so unbelievably hyper, she CANNOT sit still at any given moment unless she is sleeping. I just don't know where she gets all this energy from! It just cracks me up watching her flail her arms and legs around while she is just sitting.

I just CANNOT seem to kick this awful cold I have. I still have zero energy, feel blah, and have an awful cough. I saw a doctor while in Grand Forks and she just sent me home with cough syrup with codeine. Well, I have had this cold since July 2nd, so we are going on three weeks pretty quick here. UGH, I am so sick of being sick!
