Wow, we have a 1 year old. It's crazy just to say. Like I said in the post, she went to bed on Thursday night and woke up a parrot. She tries to repeat so much of what we say. We have been able to get her to say "hi," "hi Dad," "oww" and "baby." And when she is not making words she is babbling to no end. She has always been a babbler, but it is now in overdrive. I swear she grew so much overnight. She looks older and acts it too. She is still our little drama queen and let's you know when she is not happy!
We are having her birthday party next weekend, but let her have her giant cupcake and some presents on her actual birthday. She had this giant cupcake in front of her and she spent many minutes just picking the sprinkles off the top! Then she realized it was just easier to stick her face into the cupcake! It was pretty funny until she got frosting in her eye...then it was game over :) She got a couple babies already for her birthday, and I am shocked at how much she likes them. They are cabbage patch, Vincent and Kiara, and she drags them all around the house. One ofIt is THE cutest thing too when you tell her to "feed your baby." She gets the mini bottle that came with it and feeds both her babies. She is getting so big! It's crazy that she can imitate caring for a baby already. We also got her a ball pit, which she loves. It's a little people school bus and oh so cute!
