Our Future Home

Well, if everything goes as planned...this pile of dirt will be the new Hochhalter home in October or November. I put a picture of the lot and a picture of a house similar to the one we will have. The only difference will be the color and maybe a few other details. We haven't decided that far ahead yet but I know it's hard to visualize a home sometimes, so I put this pic of another home in the area up so you can get an idea. We have picked out the basics of the house, it will be a ranch style, etc. but have a lot more decisions to make. We went back and forth on building and buying, but in the end we just realized we could get exactly what we wanted with building. It's located in Northeast Bismarck by the new elementary school. It's actually about 1/2 block north of the school, which will be so handy if Kendall ends up going to that school! Hopefully being by the school we will have lots of kids for Kendall to grow up around.

We ran into a couple bumps while trying to get our house up for sale and hope to have it listed by the end of July. So we are praying that it will sell in time for us to move into our new home.

Kendall has reached a whole new level of sassy-ness. Wait, I should say ownership. Everything is "mine." She feels the need to say this to everyone, including the dogs who couldn't care less about her toys. It was funny at first, but now it's just annoying! I'm sure she hears the word all day at daycare with all the kids playing with toys and struggling to share, but really, no one is going to take her toys at home! Other then that things are same old at our house. Kendall's vocabulary is expanding and we are trucking along with home projects. We only have a few things left to do, with landscaping being the biggest project of all.

We are headed to the lake and a wedding in Alexandria next weekend, it should be a ton of fun. Kendall is staying with my parents at the lake while we go to the wedding. It will be great being kid less for the night, maybe we will make it to 11pm! Ha!
