Traveling! We headed out this weekend for Rick's annual Fantasy Football draft in Grand Forks. He started this league many years ago when he and I both worked at Hollywood Video. None of the players actually work at Hollywood Video anymore, but it's neat that they all still get together after all these years and reminisce! We were able to see my parents that Friday night for a bit before they left for Minneapolis. This was so nice as Kendall really misses them and has soo much fun with them
Tammy! After we stayed in GF for Friday night, we drove to Fargo to stay with my BFF Tammy and Keith. Kendall is really starting to get to know them and is really comfortable around them. Tammy was trying to get Kendall to call her "aunt Tammy" all weekend. Supposedly she said it once, but no one heard it?! Ha! She would say "aunt" or call her "Tammy" but wouldn't put the two together.
Talking! This girl can talk! She will repeat the last word of everything you say and will put words together quite often too. Rick and I had pizza on our way out of town on Friday and from the back seat we heard, "Pizza, want some." I should have put this up in the "traveling section" but I had to mention that Kendall is just such a good traveler. I am so thankful for this, she sleeps a couple hours and then watches cartoons the rest of the time. Yeah, I know we cheat with the cartoons, but I don't care! DVD players in the car are one of the greatest inventions :)
"Truckin" along on our new home! They have almost completely framed our house and it's getting exciting to watch it being built. We have almost everything picked out, all we have left are kitchen appliances and flooring. We have had a TON of showing on our current house this past week, so that's a good sign. We actually had 3 in one day last week. However, this landed on the day I had the stomach flu...NOT fun. It only lasted a day though and now I am 100 percent again.
Above are pictures of the house being built and Kendall eating her corn, she is so funny! I love how her belly is sticking out! The house pic is kind of bad since they were actually working on the house when I was trying to snap pictures. Darn them for working while I have my camera out, ha!
