No Subject

Kendall had to wear ALL the beads I brought back from New Orleans

I couldn't think of anything to write in my title section. So there you go, no subject, just like in emails when you forget to write in the subject line. Anyway, as summer winds down, everything else seems to pick up. I will start my 3rd year of Faith Formation at St. Mary's in a couple weeks. I will stick with the Kindergartners, but add a teacher. My friend Darcy will be co-teaching with me this year. For any of you that have kindergartners, you will understand how difficult it is for them to pay attention for any amount of time. It's a really hard adjustment for them; this is their first year of school (full day at that), they have come from school all day and go straight from their after school program to Faith Formation. I have to have a snack on hand for all of them because they are usually starving. However, this snack is a great bargaining chip to get them to listen and sit still for the first half of class.

We have still been showing our home, during nap time sometimes! Ahhh! You feel that when the realtor calls for a showing that you can't exactly barter with the showing time, after all, with a child and 2 dogs EVERY time can be an inconvenience. The other day I had to get Kendall and both dogs out of the house during nap time. In addition, the house had to be spotless. Try to explain this to a toddler when all she wants is to take apart and put together her animal puzzle. Ugh :) However, showings are a good thing and we have had many the last couple weeks. So with all this traffic we are bound to have another offer...right? Right.

Oh, and do you want to hear something pathetic? I have just ordered our Christmas cards...yeah I know, pathetic! The ones I want are 40% off for this week since Christmas is that far away, and we had our family pics done a couple weeks ago, so why not!
