Since Kendall's birthday is on Saturday we made cupcakes to bring to daycare tomorrow. Rick has Kendall on Friday, so we made them tonight to bring tomorrow. Kendall tried REALLY hard to help but I think she made much more of a mess. She would frost a little, but most ended up on her face. It was pretty cute though. And man, were they good. Maybe that's the preggo in me, but those cupcakes hit the spot.
Speaking of preggo, I just want to complain...a little. The plague hit the Hochhalter house, and attacked Rick and I. We have had the cough, congestion, and the yuck, yuck, yuck. Oh, and did I mention we both managed to get pink eye? Kendall has not gotten any of this so far, thank god, including the pink eye. The difference between Rick and I during all this? He was able to get some good meds to help the cough and help him sleep and something to treat the pink eye. Granted, he does seem to have all the crud worse then I do, so I am glad he got something. I, on the other hand, just have to stick it out, and be confined to my house for the day so no one catches my pink eye.
Another complaint?? I CAN'T SLEEP! This DID NOT start when I was pregnant with Kendall until the 3rd trimester, but it started this pregnancy at about 10 weeks. Crazy. I toss and turn most nights and can't get much sleep. However, I started to feel little movements from my little apple (that's the baby's size this week) a few days ago. That is something I LOVE about being pregnant. I can't wait for another month when I get to see that pretty babe during the ultrasound!
