Jaxon is here!

He is here! After a routine c-section, we have a healthy beautiful boy! He is BIG. 9 pounds 1 oz, holy hannah! I knew he was going to be big, but I didn't think he would be THAT big! I am going to keep this post short. Friends and family have left for the night, Rick is grabbing some food, and Jaxon is fast asleep. He is 21 1/4 inches long and has a ton of black hair. Right now I see glimpses of Kendall in him but for the most part he doesn't really look like her. Speaking of Kendall, she is interested in him 'just a little.' I think she likes Grandma and Grandpa's attention so much more right now!

C-section was good. I was SUPER nervous about the spinal but it went great. I am feeling good tonight and even went for a stroll around the hospital floor. Jaxon is great, he has slept a lot of the day away, but has also been awake some so we can all gaze into his eyes. He is just so interested in everything and is a champion nurser so far. However, being 9 pounds, he would have to be :)
