the plague has lifted

Kendall is watching Puss 'n Boots, Jaxon is playing with his piano and Rick is golfing (golf simulator.) I am going to try to write a quick post.  I am sure this post won't end until AFTER the children go to bed.  But here's to trying.

OK, quick update on our sickness.  Rick is back to 100%, Kendall is back to 100% and Jaxon is back to 100%.  YEEESSSS.  Jaxon is back to our great sleeping baby and is in a WAY better mood. He had a quick follow up with the DLM (our doctor, keep up people)  and she gave him a good once over. She said his lungs are clear and he is healthy.  Thank goodness. 

Speaking of the Jaxonater.  I wrote in his 8 month post that he was "sort of" crawling.  Well, scratch that.  The next day he started crawling all over the place and can now pull himself up on pretty much anything.  It's also funny how you want your child to be mobile so bad, then when they start crawling around and pulling themselves up, all you want is for them to be immobile again.  You have to watch where they are at every second to ensure they aren't pulling out cords, putting something small in their mouth, etc. 

Now about my little Kendall.  She has been really improving on the whining department.  She can be such a little whiner, but has been doing so well lately.  Also, she hasn't been as scared of new things lately.  I am so proud of her.  She has been wanting to start dance class lately.  Well, I remind her that if she is in this class, I won't be with her.  I think she would love dance class and hope she will do OK without us there. 

Here are a few of my kiddo's favorite toys: I always like to know what other kids around the same age as mine are playing with.  It gives me good ideas for presents!

Leap Tag learning books.  Kendall LOVES these and they keep her entertained for long periods of time.

Hers has different colors, it is all light pink, but you get the idea.

I love all color wonder stuff.  All the fun, none of the mess.  Lately she has really taken a liking to the paints.

This was a great buy by me!  I bought this at a rummage sale when Kendall was born for 5 bucks. She had endless hours of entertainment from it, and now Jaxon absolutely loves it too!  I just love good rummage sale buys.

Shake and go car.  Jaxon got this for Christmas from Grandpa Rod and just loves it.
 He shakes it and then it talks to him and drives away.
