We bought a camper last month. It's a used, old, needs lots of work
camper, but she is all ours! We have been working our tails off the past
month trying to get it ready for this past weekend. I spent several
hours cleaning with several gallons of bleach :/ Rick had been fixing
things like the vents, lights, hitch, etc. It's definitely a first
camper, but we are hoping to upgrade in the future?! It has a bedroom
and bunk beds which we really wanted. It was really nice not to have to
tear down the table each time the kids wanted to head to bed.
We
went to Lake Tschida this weekend and I loved it! They have a great
public beach and a nice new park right behind it. The lake was a balmy
63 degrees, but you would have never known. The kids played in the
water and sand as much as we would let them. Jaxon was totally in his
element. He loves to be outside and get dirty. Rick's dad Rod and Liz
came with and brought the "school bus" as Jaxon called it. They have a
nice big RV and it was handy to use when it rained.
We are heading to Ft. Lincoln this weekend with the Jeffers' and Ross', camping round two here we come!
