The Merry-Go-Round teachers truly outdid themselves. Like I have posted before, they are really amazing. I can't put into words the amount of talent, dedication and intelligence these ladies have. The things that Kendall learned these last two years will guide her for a lifetime. Not only do they focus on educational learning, but how to be a good person. Manners, being a good christian, and being a good friend. Their approach to teaching is a hands on learning. Teaching through sensory is of huge importance to me and they seemed to always incorporate sensory with learning. Little things like gifts for holidays, surprises for the parents and always trying to make learning fun, we just a few of the things I will miss. Sadly, Jaxon will not be attending Merry-Go-Round. We really wanted him in a full day preschool program so we didn't have so much transporting during the day, and we were lucky enough to get into one this fall. So the school we have Jaxon attending has a lot to live up to :)
The graduation was filled with favorite songs, dances and books they shared through the year. They also came up to receive their certificate and said in the microphone what they would like to be when they grow up. Kendall said a dolphin trainer, we will see how that one pans out! After the ceremony, at each table was a framed picture of Kendall with the Merry-Go-Round logo and year. Kendall was wearing her graduation cap and holding a chalkboard of what she wanted to be when she grows up. Oddly enough, this one said a horse rider, I guess she changed her mind at the graduation. Each family was able to take home this frame and the tassel from the hat. Kendall will love showing this off to everyone that comes over.
