Leaving on a jet plane...No wait

I was mentally preparing myself all week for Rick and Kendall to leave for Reno on Saturday. We found some cheapo e-fare tickets for them and since Rick has a ton of family there, including his grandpa, he and Kendall were going to be flying above the midwest come early Saturday morning. Well the weather had different plans for them. Apparently there was a huge snowstorm that was supposed to hit Denver (where they had thier layover) and so they cancelled the flight. The next flight that was available wouldn't put them there until tomorrow and they would return 24 hours later? So that didn't seem like a very smart option so we opted for the refund and will try to book a flight sometime this winter. I was super nervous for Rick to be dealing with a child on his own for 4 flights total and also nervous that Kendall would be the squirm worm we know and love! While Rick was going to have a family weekend, I had plans to have a girls weekend in Fargo. I could catch up with a few close friends while keeping my mind off my favorite two people being gone.

Since Rick's flight was cancelled, I was either going to stay home for the weekend or bring Rosie with me. Rick didn't work Friday and won't work Monday so he takes care of Kendall those days. Well, if I left him for the weekend, he would have Kendall on his own for quite a few days.

Rick, being the awesome husband he is, told me to just go and have my girl's weekend anyway. He is so great, really! I spent some time with two of my best friends Tammy and Jessica. We met in Fargo and shopped 'til we dropped and did some major bonding! I LOVE being home with my little one, but I had soo much fun hanging out with the girls and having no responsibilities for awhile.

Here is a picture of the three of us. We had to work the automatic timer on the camera and this is the best we could come up with. Seriously, we tried AT LEAST 10 times for a decent picture. I think we laughed way too much!

And to much more exciting news...Kendall FINALLY has a tooth! We thought she was going to have dentures by the age of 5! Ha! Just kidding, but really we thought we wouldn't see that first tooth for awhile and it just snuck up on us. She wasn't crabby or anything, but I'm sure that won't be the case for every tooth.
