You know that whole last post where I talked about Kendall teething and being so crabby? Scratch that entire paragraph. We have a SICK baby on our hands! Here I was chalking all that crabbiness up to teething and she has been really sick!
So let me start with Saturday. She was soo needy and tired and crabby. I was the only one who could hold her. Sunday morning came around and it was the same, but we added in coughing and raspy cry?! So I called the walk in clinic and low and behold our doctor happened to be there that day! Yay, we LOVE Dr. Murphy! So we went to the clinic and were surprised to see only two other people in the waiting room. Bonus :) So Dr. M looked at her and said her throat was SUPER red and she had fever, etc. She said it's most likely viral so lots of rest, Tylenol, and slushies were ordered ;) Doctor ordered slushies, who would've thought. If the fever isn't gone by Tuesday she wants us to call back and get a round of antibiotics. Hopefully it doesn't come to that because Kendall already has an awful diaper rash, and we all know what antibiotics usually do to babies!
So I am home today with my little monster and she hasn't had a fever yet today. But she has the most awful bark of a cough...breaks my heart EVERY TIME. Luckily she doesn't have to go back to daycare until Friday, Rick is off Tuesday through Thursday. So she can sleep in and get lots of rest. I feel so bad, she cries every time she coughs, I bet it hurts so bad.
So to all you mothers...don't blame everything on teething, I know I did! Ha!
