Santa Claus is Coming to Town...at the Mall

I love this cheesy tradition. Santa at the mall and one picture with him for $15. Ha Ha, well the mall Santa has come a long way because now you can get a CD with pics on it for $11. Totally worth it! We waited in line for about 20 minutes, and our antsy baby almost didn't make it those 20 min. But we got up to Santa and Kendall gave some cheesy smiles for the camera. A lot of people in line told me that it's ages 18mos-26mos that they are scared of Santa usually. So we will have to see what next year brings. Kendall did get a little scared at the end when she actually looked up to see who was holding her. Honestly though, you would be scared too looking at an old man with tons of white hair and a beard.

She now has two teeth and grinds them all the time. This is like nails on a chalkboard for Rick and I (more for me). She has her bottom tooth and the one right above it and grinds them often. Also, along with these new teeth has come less sleep in the Hochhalter home. We went from our baby sleeping until 7:30-8am every day to waking up at 6:45am no matter what time she went to sleep. So we figure if she is going to wake up early no matter what, we might as well move up her bedtime a half hour! Rick and I have been so spoiled with a baby that still sleeps 11-12 hours a night and 3 hours total during the day. So hopefully this is just a phase that comes with teething and we will get our great sleeper back someday!

Ok, all for now, I will post a lot more in a couple days when Kendall is 11 months! I know you can't wait to see MORE posts about our child! Ha ha!
