Busy busy weekend

Wow, did we ever have an action packed Memorial Day weekend. It was decent weather pretty much the entire weekend, and we spent most of it outside.

Here's a brief breakdown of the weekend.

Friday- Our good friend Michaela and her kiddos came to the Biz for a graduation so we met up with them at the zoo. Bonus: it was "free day" at the zoo...what a great surprise! It was in the 90's that day, but we had a ton of fun. Fun fact: Kendall thinks almost everything with four legs is a puppy and she has NO fear of them. She was trying to claw her way over the fence to get to the wolves! Ahh! She kept saying "puppy" and "Zeus." One of the dogs at daycare is a large German Shepard, therefore, every big dog is Zeus. Funny girl! Another note, you may notice that I can't get any good smiling pics of Kendall. Well that's because there is NO sitting still to take a picture. This could make 18 month pics at JCP interesting.

Saturday- We made it to a 50Th birthday party in the afternoon. This was for Rick's uncle's girlfriend. We had a ton of good food and Kendall made some friends with some kids, good times!

After the birthday party we rushed over to a BBQ at our good friends the Verdouw's. For being so hot the day before, you would have thought Saturday would follow suit. Not so much. It was chilly out, but that didn't stop Kendall and Madeline from spending some serious time outside. It was a good time even with the weather not cooperating.

Monday- We went to the Jeffers' for ANOTHER BBQ. Woo hoo, I love summer :) We like to be silly and call ourselves the "Jeffhalters," you know, our last names together :) We were also joined by two other couples and had great food and great fun. We played a mean game of Catch Phrase, and even though the guys might have beaten us 5 games to 1, it was still a ton of fun! We will get you next time boys... We also had a little too much fun on the trampoline after the kiddos went to bed, hee hee!
This weekend has flown by and next week I will be in Fargo for most of the week due to a conference. I will miss my little peanut, but am excited to see Jewel (Tammy won us tickets), and do some shopping! Oh yes, I will also miss my wonderful hubby too.

The house hunt continues and will perhaps bring us to building? Hmmm, we are tempted. I will keep you updated.
