I know this is a short month, but it sure has gone by fast! We have been busy busy busy at the Hochhalter home. This past weekend my parents came and we finished most of the electrical. By most, I mean there is enough done that Rick can do the rest himself. In fact, that's where he is right now, wiring some outlets. HVAC guy should be coming this week and the plumber should be coming by to give an estimate this week also. It's all coming along in time and the more we get done the more excited I get to have a fully finished home.
The thought of a having a boy is finally over the shock phase and now I am officially excited. Looking at all the cute plaid boy clothes, cute vests, and little hats has me forcing myself to hold back my shopping urge. I have started to organize all Kendall's old clothes, 0-24 months and she honestly has roughly 12-17 totes/boxes or more, I haven't added them up yet. Wow, it even sounds pathetic when I type it. Jenn Jeffers and I are going to have one heck of a rummage sale come May so if you are needing baby girl clothes this is the sale for you. By the way, I do plan to confirm at my next ultrasound (2 weeks away) that this is in fact a boy. I do realize that I have plenty of pics that already confirm it, but it never hurts to ask again.
Kendall keeps us busy as usual. She has quite the cold right now that has caused her to not quite be herself. I just love how much they grow every day and learn something new almost just as often. She just loves to read books when she is on the potty (and any other time during the day). We seriously have to limit us reading to her to before naptime and bedtime otherwise we would be reading all day. Well she loves to read herself books when she is on the potty. Her favorites are the Little Critter books and we probably have 15 of them. It's so neat that she can actually memorize most of these books and can "read" them to herself. She knows every title and can, for the most part, read them out loud. I am fully aware that she isn't technically reading, but I think it's so neat how they can memorize the pages with the pictures and read out loud there own little story. Ok, enough about my child.
Kendall is trying to get out of the bathtub on her own and will probably fall, so have a great night everyone!
PS: Kendall learned how to use Grandma's camera this past weekend, here are some of her best shots...
